Trimming Your Plane

This pylon racer is being built by Troy for Larry Benning of Coffeyville, Kansas.
Setting up a V-tail to fly properly requires good alignment of the tail.  Here the fuse is clamped in place and wing saddle leveled.  The tail is positioned level with the wing saddle and square with the fuse.
Care is being taken to keep the model as light as possible as it will be used competitively.
It will be powered by a Magnum .46 2 cycle nitro engine.
