This aircraft started life with a wingspan of about 86" sporting a 64cc engine. One unhappy day in 2005 the engine outran the fuselage and wings leaving behind some heartbreaking wreckage. The plane was given to me and was over time returned to the original owner (ricocheted) and rebuilt by him and later resold. The plane was wrecked on it's first flight after being rebuilt and pieces were placed into the trash bins. I recovered about 1/3rd of the main wing and gave it a new home in my shop and eventually led to this project which I will call the Ricochet. |
