Trimming Your Plane

Jon Lewman teams up with Troy to build his .60 size Astro Hog kit by sig.  We are not sure how old this kit is but they are a gentle flying plane yet aerobatic.  He is planning on using a conversion gas engine on the Hog.  The engine conversion will be included under "Engines" in the menu to the left.

The project on was started March  2007.  Jon and Troy routinely work on the project every Friday evening and have been known to work well into the night.   The first night involved rolling out the plans and planning the project followed by cutting the two fuselage sides out by hand, gluing in the hardwood doublers and framing as seen above.   We discovered one page of the plans were missing but will deal with that as we come to it.
