Gas/Glow refers to a 2 cycle engine either glow or gas converted to burn a mixture of gasoline and nitro fuel using a glow plug instead of magneto or electronic ignition system.  They are inexpensive to convert and give better fuel economy.
The fuel is a blend of Methanol and  gasoline.  The methanol reacts with the glow element to keep the plug hot which in turn initiates the combustion of the fuel resulting in consistent ignition timing.
